On 29 March 2006 I visited the beautiful island of Kastelorizo in order to see, for the first time in my life, the total eclipse of the Sun. There I met some fellow amateur astronomers and all together we watched this spectacular phenomenon. In this image you can see the solar corona in all its glory during totality.
