Morning Planets Conjunction

Sunset from Loutraki area

 

This image was captured from Saint Gerasimos Chapel located at Geraneia mountain, Loutraki area, Korinthia. In the background the lighthouse of Heraion is visible as well as a part of Vouliagmeni Lake. No more words can describe this beautiful sunset as this one!

Sunset - Easter Sunday 2011

 

This Sunset photo is taken from an altitude of 300m towards Ktena at the back side of Gerania Mountains, Korinthia, Greece. Two big sunspots are clearly visible in the picture. Although this photo is taken with a 200mm telephoto lens the disc of the sun looks very impressive.
